ANIMALS AND ACTIVITIES
PLEASE NOTE: The Camel Park Oasis is situated in a remote area of Suffolk where the mobile phone signal is weak and as both of our card payment terminals are on this system we have had many issues with the processing of card payments. It is therefore advisable to bring cash to avoid any inconvenience as the nearest ATM is over 6 miles away.
The Camel Park Oasis is almost certainly the only place in Great Britain where you can see camels and their relatives up close.
You can learn, have fun and relax at our 11 acre Camel Park which is set in the peace and tranquility of the Suffolk countryside. Don’t expect the glitz, glamour and commercialisation of a modern day theme park, the family-run Camel Park is more of a natural countryside experience.
And it’s not just bactrian and dromedary camels… although the two types of camels and their relations the llamas and alpacas are the main theme of the Camel Park, you can also see many more other animals including donkeys, wallabies, mara, goats, sheep, horse and pony, emus, ring-tailed lemurs, meerkats, marmosets, rabbits, guinea pigs and aviary birds.
We have two outdoor play areas and a small indoor soft play area for under 7’s.
Everyone can enjoy a family land train ride (weather permitting), a ride on our pedal go-karts, have fun in our mini maze and on our jumping pillow which is suitable for both children and adults.
Camel Café – Take away only but we have indoor and undercover outdoor seating available. Choose from jacket potatoes, sandwiches, breakfasts, burgers, hotdogs, chips or a delicious slice of cake. Children’s portions are available. You will be given an order number and called to collect your order when it is ready. Snacks/lighter bites, ice creams and smoothies are also on the menu. We also have picnic areas if you prefer to bring your own food but our covered marquee is reserved for customers purchasing food in our cafe’
Check out the Land Train times and enjoy an exciting ride around our Camel Park, land train sessions at 11.15 am and 2 pm for you to enjoy (weather permitting).
A visit to our museum is a must. You can see numerous artifacts, learn interesting facts and view our collection of camel seats and memorabilia.
