No need to book – we are confident that we can manage our visitor numbers safely.
Our whole outdoor site will be open for you to come and see the animals, get fresh air and spend time with your family group. We have lots of wide pathways around our animal paddocks and we will be offering a fun, interactive quiz for children to complete.
We will be offering takeaway refreshments only. This means meals from a limited menu, drinks, and ice-creams. Outdoor, socially distanced tables will be provided – please do not attempt to move any of these.
The gift shop will be open with social distancing measures in place – selling our usual selection of alpaca wool garments, ethnic knitwear & gifts and camel park souvenirs.
As from Saturday 4th july the following will be available
All animal interactive sessions including camel & donkey rides, llama walks, cuddle-a-pet and animal talks
All Outdoor Play Areas
Pedal Go Karts
Coin Slot Cars
However, due to current Government guidelines, the following activity is currently still unavailable
All indoor Play Areas
These guidelines are subject to constant change, we hope to be able to reintroduce this activity as soon as possible.
We will still be accepting both cash and card. Due to our rural location our card system sometimes encounters problems as we operate on a mobile network. Therefore it is advisable to have cash with you as the nearest ATM is more than 6 miles away.
Our car park will be open, please park sensibly whilst allowing for social distancing between cars.
There is only one entrance and exit to the park so we may need to operate a queuing system to get in and out of the park whilst abiding to social distancing measures. Please be patient and we will get you into the park as soon as we can safely do so. With this in mind, multiple trips out to your car will be problematic for both you and for us, so please ensure that you bring all you need in with you to avoid having to go back out to your car.
Following Social Distancing measures
Keep to the left of the pathways at all times – all of our pathways are wide enough for your group to maintain social distancing as long as you all keep to the left. Please supervise the younger members of your group to ensure they adhere to this.
Keep to a safe distance from other groups either in front or behind you on the paths and walkways.
A one way system will be in operation for refreshments and at the entrance/exit areas. When ordering food please select from the menu located outside and then only one member of your party to order please.
When waiting for food or in the toilet areas please keep to social distancing guidelines and spacing.
Please do not gather or wait around the entrance/exit and toilet areas – these areas are likely to be the most congested places so please choose somewhere with more space to wait so that social distancing and safety can be maintained for all.
We respectfully ask that people take responsibility for their own health and the health of the community before visiting us. Please do not choose to visit the park if you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or have any underlying health conditions that may put you or others at risk. If you are vulnerable in any way, it is your responsibility to make the right choice for yourself and others around you. Please follow the advice given by the UK Government, PHE and NHS.
Hand wash stations and hand sanitiser will be available throughout the park.
Regular cleaning regimes are in place in all public areas including toilets, hand washing stations and tables.
Our team will be following regular hand washing schedules and using appropriate protective equipment when required.
